Congrats to Jean and the crew for winning best actor in a comedy or musical and also best film,and music! I cut and styled and him and his wonderful wife Alexandre for the absolutely wonderful evening at the Golden Globes. The movie “The Artist” won the most awards that night and well deserved! If you have not seen it, you are missing out on this years best movie!
So Tis the time when things really pick up the pace! Award season has begun with a bang! What better way to start at the Palm Springs Film Festival, then with the handsome Jean Dujardin. If you have not seen the movie The Artist… then hop to it! It is getting a lot of Oscar buzz! and Jean is the leading man in it. He won the Cannes Film Festival as best actor! I am so excited to see what happens in the next few months!
Then there is the English gentlemen Kenneth Branagh who plays Lawrence Olivier in My Week With Marilyn. I just saw the original movie on the big screen,The Prince and the Showgirl.. What an amazing film!!! it was based on the behind the scenes of Marilyn Monroe while she was working on that film.

I spent the last week working with the very funny actor, Jean Dujardin for his movie The Artist. He is the lead actor and won for best actor in Cannes! I was lucky enough to watch the screening of the movie and absolutely loved it!!! It is a silent movie in black and white of course that is beautifully shot. It is about a silent movie star who in his hey day meets one of his backup dancers who they create a bond. Time moves onto talkies and she climbs up the ladder and becomes a star in the talkies while he is left behind as a fallen star… though she never forgets him and tries to help him even though he does not know it! There is a great little dog in there that is so cute! and i happened to meet him too!
This is a new video for a film “Beauty Study” by MI-ZO that i did the hair on. It was shot on one of those RED cameras that are being used right now by James Cameron for the Avatar2 and Peter Jackson for the new Hobbit movie.
