Jean Dujardin Wins The Golden Globes!

I have the greatest pleasure to do the hair and makeup on the handsome French actor Jean Dujardin. He is the lead actor in what i think is the best movie of the year! It is a silent movie. Very beautifully shot,a beautiful story, and well acted by Jean. No one knew who he was in America and i have the greatest pleasure in seeing how everyone now is noticing him! Now let’s get the bigger statue!

 

Tate Taylor in Vanity Fair for “The Help” Movie

Just out in Vanity Fair with the crew from “The Help” movie shot by Annie Leibovitz. I cut and styled the charming Tate Taylor who is the director,screenplay writer,and producer for the film.. Phew.. did i get that right?

The new March cover i did for a British magazine called Red. Just so happens Andrea Riseborough has red hair! She is the lead actress in Madonna’s new movie W.E. Makeup by Gregory Arlt

Grooming on Jean Dujardin Golden Globes

Congrats to Jean and the crew for winning best actor in a comedy or musical and also best film,and music! I cut and styled and him and his wonderful wife Alexandre for the absolutely wonderful evening at the Golden Globes. The movie “The Artist” won the most awards that night and well deserved! If you have not seen it, you are missing out on this years best movie!

 

Palm Springs Film Festival

So Tis the time when things really pick up the pace! Award season has begun with a bang! What better way to start at the Palm Springs Film Festival, then with the handsome Jean Dujardin. If you have not seen the movie The Artist… then hop to it! It is getting a lot of Oscar buzz! and Jean is the leading man in it. He won the Cannes Film Festival as best actor! I am so excited to see what happens in the next few months!

Then there is the English gentlemen Kenneth Branagh who plays Lawrence Olivier in My Week With Marilyn. I just saw the original movie on the big screen,The Prince and the Showgirl.. What an amazing film!!! it was based on the behind the scenes of Marilyn Monroe while she was working on that film.
